Protection of habitats and ecosystems is critical to wildlife and biodiversity conservation. However, for some animals a species recovery program may be required. This may involve the management of animals in the wild (in situ) and in captivity (ex situ).
Wildlife CSI has experience with the management of threatened species both in the wild and in captivity. We can:
Develop and maintain a population monitoring program
Develop and maintain databases for wild and captive populations
Develop and facilitate management and action plans
Scientifically analyse data for population and genetic management
Facilitate Population Viability Analysis
